イギリスのアンティーク、マザーオブパールの小物入れです。

マザーオブパールとは、真珠母貝の貝殻の内側にある虹色に輝く層で、真珠層とも呼ばれます。
角度を変えることであらわれるシェル（貝殻）ならではの虹色の輝きが魅力です。
ジュエリーや装飾品、日用品、工芸品などに加工され、広く用いられています。
また、出産前後の母親や子供のためのお守りとしても用いられることがあります。

中の方に錆がございます。
